Svetlost – Sponsorship Programme

The project, Svetlost (Light on invisible children), aims to provide support to displaced families from Kosovo, both in southern Serbia and to those who have returned but are still struggling with poverty and hardship.

In 2010, the project was relaunched, thanks to the book and DVD, ‘The Scream from Kosovo’, which, through powerful testimonies and videos, describes the living conditions of refugees from Serbia and Kosovo 10 years after the conflict in 1999.

Since the beginning of 2011, in collaboration with the Monastery of Decani, the project has also extended to the Serbian communities in Kosovo.
